Featured & Case Studies

A look into some of the projects that I've spearheaded in my professional career.

Web Event Banners

Created Web Graphics Suite for an Event Package.

What I did:

We got this project three days before we were supposed to launch a two week campaign. I was supplied some photography from the client as well as a little context as to which events should be on the banners, but there were no other imagery available. As we had a short deadline, I went ahead and created some graphics using the photos to get us started. When we sent the first proof, the client got back to us about the anticipated tone change and official name of the event, so we pivoted and created a set of "sexier" ads for the campaign.

Tools:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Result:

Created a cohesive campaign that aligned with the client's interests.

Ocracoke Walking Map

Updated the map while making it closer to the geography of the island and playing with the colorway to make it look different than last year

What I did:

The Ocracoke TDA had been rolling with essentially the same design for years on the walking map, so they wanted a refresh this year. Shown below are the 2025 version, the first draft I sent for 2026, and what we printed for the final version for 2026. I updated the entire branding of the project, from updating the fonts to something a little more fun and friendly, to changing the colors to make it more beachy, and finagling with the outline of the island to make it more closely align with its natural shape.

Tools:
Adobe Illustrator, InDesign

Result:

A refreshed version of the Map we all know and love.

Capital One Internship Project

Educational Gamification to Learn Financial Readyness

What I did:

In our aims to appeal to the Gen Z market, we found that they are commonly unsure of their financial decisions and would need assistance in becoming more familiar with lending programs like Buy Now, Pay Later. In order to get them familiar in a low risk way, we pitched four different gamification routes. The greenlit version was made into a beta game where you would take a loan for a booster and have to pay it off in four installments to continue the level. I was in charge of coding, art direction, asset creation, character design, level design, and internal pitch decks for this entire process.

Tools:
Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Construct 3

Result:

A beta version of a game and a plan to get Gen Z more financially ready.
